Leonard HVAC grew one honest service call at a time in communities like Cerrillos. Our crews carry manufacturer certifications across the major residential and commercial equipment lines.
You won't find us buried under layers of call-center scripts — we're the company that tells you what actually needs fixing instead of what pads the ticket. Every job we run is backed by full liability coverage and current state licensing, and we keep that documentation available on request for every job, residential or commercial.
Being local matters more than most companies let on. That local knowledge shapes the parts we stock on the truck — it's the difference between a tech who's guessing and a tech who's seen your exact situation a hundred times before.
Trust in this industry gets eroded fast, and it takes real consistency to earn it back. That's the gap we built Leonard HVAC to close. We track arrival windows, callback rates, and repeat-issue complaints internally so problems get caught before they become patterns, because a customer who trusts us once tends to call us again — and Cerrillos is a small enough community that reputation travels fast.
When you call +1-866-805-8548, you're talking to someone who understands the local permitting process, the common equipment brands installed in Cerrillos homes, and realistic scheduling given local demand. We keep parts inventory stocked based on what actually fails most often on Cerrillos's housing stock.
Every service below is backed by the same licensing, warranty, and upfront pricing you get on any job we run.
Breakdowns rarely happen at a convenient time, which is exactly why our emergency line runs 24 hours a day. Our Cerrillos dispatch team sends the closest available truck first so a technician is diagnosing your system as fast as physically possible.
We keep the truck stocked with the parts that fail most often on the equipment common to Cerrillos homes, which is exactly why most repairs don't require a return visit.
Not every repair call ends in a repair — sometimes the honest recommendation is a properly sized replacement. We walk Cerrillos homeowners through financing and rebate options where available before a single piece of equipment gets ordered.
Every install ends with a performance test, confirming airflow, temperature split, and refrigerant charge are all where they should be before we consider the job finished.
Downtime in a commercial space costs money every hour a system is offline. Our commercial division services multi-zone commercial buildouts across Cerrillos, with priority response for facilities that can't afford downtime.
Our commercial techs are trained to work around your customers and staff, scheduling noisy or disruptive work outside peak hours whenever possible.
Most emergency breakdowns start as a small, ignorable warning sign months earlier. Beyond standard tune-ups, we also handle indoor air quality upgrades for homes with allergy or asthma concerns for Cerrillos households that want more than just temperature control.
A tune-up typically takes under an hour and covers the checkpoints most likely to catch a problem before it becomes a breakdown.
We'd rather set clear expectations upfront than make vague promises we can't back up.
If the same issue returns within the warranty period, we come back and fix it at no additional labor cost.
If a competitor's written quote for the same scope of work is genuinely lower, ask us about it.
A technician doesn't consider the job done until the system is tested and performing correctly.
Catching these signs early usually means a same-day repair instead of an emergency call at the worst possible moment.
A healthy system runs with a consistent, low hum — banging, screeching, or grinding usually points to a loose part or failing motor.
Weak airflow from the vents often traces back to a clogged filter, a failing blower motor, or leaking ductwork.
A system working harder than it should to hit the same temperature shows up directly on your utility bill.
A system that won't hold a steady cycle is often fighting a sizing issue, a thermostat problem, or a refrigerant imbalance.
A musty smell often points to mold or moisture buildup somewhere in the ductwork.
If you're calling about the same problem every few months, the underlying cause likely hasn't been fully addressed.
No inflated "emergency surcharge" games — the number we quote is the number you pay.
Because our trucks are stationed near Cerrillos, we're rarely far from your address.
We don't consider a job finished until the system is actually performing correctly.
Our techs recognize brand-specific quirks instead of learning your system on the job.
Photos and plain-language notes accompany every diagnostic.
We'll walk you through what's actually available before you decide.

"The furnace stopped working overnight and someone was at our door before 9am. No pressure to buy a whole new system when a repair was all we needed."
"Scheduled a fall tune-up and they caught a cracked part before it became a real problem. Techs are always polite, always on time, and clean up after themselves."
"Had a full system replacement done and it was the smoothest home project I've had in years. Followed up a week later just to check everything was still running fine."
"As a property manager, having a company that actually answers after-hours calls is rare. Documentation for our records was thorough and easy to file."
"I appreciated that they didn't try to sell me a bigger unit than I needed. Would use them again without hesitation."
"Diagnosed a failed capacitor and had it swapped within the hour. Genuinely relieved to have found a crew that answers when it matters."
None of these are unusual or embarrassing — they're just the normal wear and tear that comes with running a system through Cerrillos's seasonal swings.
Homeowners who schedule a tune-up ahead of each season tend to call us far less often for emergency repairs. Before the coldest stretch of the year, a heating system benefits from a full safety inspection, checking the heat exchanger, ignition system, and airflow to catch any issue that could turn into a no-heat emergency.
Simple habits between professional visits also matter. None of this replaces a professional tune-up, but it does reduce the wear that leads to premature breakdowns between visits.
We also service package units common on manufactured and modular homes throughout the Cerrillos area. If your system was installed by a different company entirely, that's not a problem — we service equipment regardless of who originally put it in, and we'll pull the model and serial information to confirm parts compatibility before any repair begins.
Every tech on our Cerrillos roster goes through background checks, licensing verification, and ongoing manufacturer training.
