No overselling, no guesswork — just a Furnace Repair crew that diagnoses it right the first time. Priority scheduling available across Cerrillos and the surrounding zip codes.
Our Cerrillos dispatcher asks a few quick questions to gauge urgency and get you the fastest available window.
You'll get a flat-rate quote before any repair work begins — no guessing what the final bill will look like.
Most repairs are completed same-visit, and we test the system before we leave to confirm it's actually holding.
Leonard HVAC grew one honest service call at a time in communities like Cerrillos. Every technician we send to your door is background-checked, factory-trained, and licensed to work on the systems installed throughout Cerrillos, NM.
You won't find us buried under layers of call-center scripts — we're the company that tells you what actually needs fixing instead of what pads the ticket. We carry the credentials Cerrillos inspectors and property managers expect to see, and we keep that documentation available on request for every job, routine or emergency.
Cerrillos's climate swings hard, and generic national playbooks don't always fit. That local knowledge shapes the maintenance schedules we recommend — it's the difference between a tech who's guessing and a tech who's seen your exact situation a hundred times before.
Too many homeowners in Cerrillos have a story about a tech who showed up late, quoted one price, and charged another. That's the gap we built Leonard HVAC to close. We'd rather lose a job to a lower bid than win one by cutting corners on the diagnosis, because a customer who trusts us once tends to call us again — and Cerrillos is a small enough community that reputation travels fast.
That local context saves time on every call, because we're not starting from zero on basic questions about your neighborhood or your system. It also means faster escalation when something's urgent — a local dispatcher can reroute the nearest truck in minutes, not hours.
Whether it's a mid-summer breakdown or a planned system replacement, our Cerrillos techs handle it with the same level of care.
When your Furnace Repair system fails without warning, waiting days for an appointment isn't an option. Our Cerrillos dispatch team sends the closest available truck first so a technician is diagnosing your system as fast as physically possible.
If a specialty part genuinely does need to be ordered, we'll set up a safe temporary fix and give you a real timeline instead of leaving you guessing.
An aging system that's constantly breaking down usually costs more to keep patching than to replace. We walk Cerrillos homeowners through load calculations so the new system is sized correctly for the actual square footage before a single piece of equipment gets ordered.
Most installs in Cerrillos are completed in a single day, and we walk you through the new thermostat and any app controls before we leave.
Downtime in a commercial space costs money every hour a system is offline. Our commercial division services multi-zone commercial buildouts across Cerrillos, with after-hours work to avoid disrupting business.
Property managers working with multiple Cerrillos locations can set up a standing account so every site gets consistent service history and pricing.
Most emergency breakdowns start as a small, ignorable warning sign months earlier. Beyond standard tune-ups, we also handle humidifier, dehumidifier, and air purifier installation for Cerrillos households that want more than just temperature control.
A tune-up typically takes under an hour and covers the checkpoints most likely to catch a problem before it becomes a breakdown.
We'd rather set clear expectations upfront than make vague promises we can't back up.
Details vary by job type and are always shared upfront, never buried in fine print.
Emergency dispatch never comes with a hidden surcharge sprung on you after the fact.
If anything feels off after we leave, one call gets a tech back to your Cerrillos address.
Catching these signs early usually means a same-day repair instead of an emergency call at the worst possible moment.
A healthy system runs with a consistent, low hum — banging, screeching, or grinding usually points to a loose part or failing motor.
Weak airflow from the vents often traces back to a clogged filter, a failing blower motor, or leaking ductwork.
A system working harder than it should to hit the same temperature shows up directly on your utility bill.
A system that won't hold a steady cycle is often fighting a sizing issue, a thermostat problem, or a refrigerant imbalance.
A musty smell often points to mold or moisture buildup somewhere in the ductwork.
We'll always tell you honestly when a repair is the better call versus when it isn't.
You'll know the cost before a wrench touches your system.
Because our trucks are stationed near Cerrillos, we're rarely far from your address.
We don't consider a job finished until the system is actually performing correctly.
We run background checks because you're letting someone into your home.
Photos and plain-language notes accompany every diagnostic.
Replacement systems don't have to be paid in one lump sum.
A snapshot of the feedback that keeps us accountable.
"I called three other companies first and this was the only one that actually picked up. No pressure to buy a whole new system when a repair was all we needed."
"Scheduled a fall tune-up and they caught a cracked part before it became a real problem. You can tell these guys actually know what they're doing."
"Explained the sizing calculation so I understood why they weren't just installing the same unit again. Would recommend to anyone in Cerrillos needing a real replacement, not a patch job."
"Commercial dispatch was quick and the tech understood our system without needing to be walked through it. Now our go-to for every property in the portfolio."
"Got quotes from four different companies for a replacement and this was the only one that actually walked me through the load calculation. Installation crew was in and out in a day and left the space cleaner than they found it."
"Called at 11pm during a heat wave and honestly didn't expect anyone to pick up, let alone show up. This is the company I'm saving in my phone now."
None of these are unusual or embarrassing — they're just the normal wear and tear that comes with running a system through Cerrillos's seasonal swings.
The shift between peak heating and peak cooling demand is exactly when older or neglected equipment tends to fail. Before the coldest stretch of the year, a heating system benefits from a full safety inspection, checking the heat exchanger, ignition system, and airflow to catch any issue that could turn into a no-heat emergency.
Clearing debris, leaves, and overgrown landscaping away from an outdoor condenser unit gives it room to breathe and keeps it running efficiently. None of this replaces a professional tune-up, but it does reduce the wear that leads to premature breakdowns between visits.
We also service package units common on manufactured and modular homes throughout the Cerrillos area. If your system was installed by a different company entirely, that's not a problem — we service equipment regardless of who originally put it in, and we'll pull the model and serial information to confirm parts compatibility before any repair begins.

More involved repairs, like a coil replacement or a refrigerant leak repair, take longer and the tech will give you a realistic estimate before starting.
For commercial accounts or rental properties, a designated point of contact or property manager can coordinate access instead.
Our technicians are familiar with both, which means less time spent figuring out your specific setup and more time actually fixing the problem.
Larger properties get the same upfront pricing and licensed technicians as a single-family service call, just coordinated at scale.
We accept standard payment methods for repairs and smaller jobs, and we'll always tell you upfront what a given service is likely to cost so there's no last-minute scramble to figure out payment.
